Task 2. Read the text and answer 3 questions in groups.


I live close to the largest shopping centre in my city. It is located in a modern building. In front of the building there is a huge parking for cars.

Different shops occupy two floors of the building. You can find clothes shops, shoe shops and sports shops here. There is even a pharmacy, a bookshop and an optician’s in this shopping centre.

On the ground floor there is a big supermarket where people can buy all kinds of food and some household goods. At the other end of the ground floor there is a home appliance store. The store sells everything from forks and knives to the latest models of HD televisions.

On the upper floor there is a small cinema, bowling alley and indoor tennis courts. A lot of people come here to meet with their friends and talk over a cup of tea.

On the ground floor in the middle of the shopping centre there is a large food court. You can try Chinese, Japanese, Georgian, Italian and Russian cuisine there.

I like this shopping centre!
