Aims:

1. To study the proper names and to read and to speak about the geographical position of the USA, to train the use of the definite article with the geographical names.

2. To improve students’ pronunciation and to develop their skills of reading, speaking, writing, to develop students’ abilities as quick and logical thinking, guessing, memory.

3. To bring up students’ interest in English speaking countries and enrich students’ knowledge with the new information.
