Викторина "Let's play English"

Класс: 5

Задачи и цели:

Обучить навыкам взаимопонимания, умению спорить и отстаивать свое мнение;

Развивать память, внимание, логику;

Расширить кругозор учащихся;

Повторить и закрепить изученный грамматический и лексический материал по темам «Животные», «Алфавит», «Числительные», «Части тела», «Цвета»;

Развивать навыки и умения устной речи;

Воспитать чувство сплоченности, сотрудничества.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор.


Ход урока.

1. Организационный момент. Приветствие.

Teacher: Hello, my dear friends and our guests! I’m glad to see you. How are you?

Today we are playing. Our linguistic game is called «Lets play English». Do you like English? I wish you good luck!

Now, let me introduce our judges. Here they are:… And these are our players: the pupils of 5-B, and 5-D forms. 

2. Проведение игры.

Teacher: Let’s divide into two teams! And now, introduce you group and your captain.

(Ученики делятся на две команды).

3. Конкурсы.

Teacher: We begin with the 1st contest of the game called «Moto». The motto of our game can be a statement that you can read by solving the rebus. You see the hidden words of the motto. Let's solve it.

(Ответ: One for all and all for one)

Teacher: Which team is ready to answer?


Teacher: And now we come to the 2nd contest of the game called «A magic 5». Each team will answer questions. Our judges attentively listen to you.

  1. Name 5 colours.

  2. Name 5 sorts of vegetables.

  3. Name 5 school subjects.

  4. Name 5 sorts of fruit.

  5. Name 5 sports.

  6. Name 5 professions.

  7. Name 5 English names.

  8. Name 5 wild animals.



Дети быстро и весело отвечают на вопросы, члены команды помогают друг другу.

Teacher: Our following contest is tongue-twisters. Read them on your cards, choose one player and try to pronounce them 3 times fast and correctly.

Дети стараются быстро произнести три раза скороговорку.

Teacher: One more contest is to make up words from letters.

(Names of animals) You see words in which letters are mixed. Make up these words.

Ученики составляют слова из смешанных букв по теме «Животные».


Teacher: You probably noticed our beautiful balloons with numbers. We need these balloons for the next contest. You have to remember numbers. You need to guess the first letter of the number and write it down. The words consist of four letters (nose, foot)



Teacher: One more contest. It’s called "Solve the riddles”. You should guess the riddles.

1) Not a bird, not a butterfly, I can fly high in the sky (a plane)

2) These two brothers live not so far apart. One of the left, one of the right. But they never see each other. (eyes)

Команды должны назвать антонимы к предложенным словам. Учитель называет по 5-6 слов каждой команде. Если ученики не могут назвать антоним, то право назвать слово переходит к их соперникам.

Teacher: contest “Artist’s competition”. You will read a text and you will draw this text. Please, be very attentive.

To the right of the house there are two flowers. One flower is red, the second flower is blue. Under the tree there is a black dog. On the tree there is a fat cat.
