Пассивный залог (passive voice)  показывает, что лицо или предмет, выраженное подлежащим, испытывает действие на себе  Пассивный залог употребляется, когда исполнитель действия очевиден или несуществен, или когда действие или его результат более интересны, чем исполнитель .

to be + Participle II Active Voice :  Someone cleans the room every day.  Кто-то убирает комнату каждый день .  Passive Voice :  The room is cleaned every day.  Комнату убирают каждый день.
