What kind of information do you usually find in a biography?

Exercise 1.Read the title of the text and look at the picture with the class.

Have you heard of this writer? Can you name any of her books? (Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Mansfield Park)


Read the text and match four of the five headings to the paragraphs.
