I. Приветствие и организационный момент.

- What date is it today? (один из учащихся записывает число на электронной доске)

- What day of the week is it today?

Who’s absent today?

What’s the matter with them? (they are ill)

It’s a pity.

Today there are a lot of guests at our lesson, and I hope you will enjoy our lesson.

II. Актуализация знаний

- Children, We do the same things day by day. And today at our lesson we’ll speak about our daily routine. We will revise vocabulary and prepositions of time.

IV. Введение новых лексических единиц.

So, let’s begin. You have sheets on your desks. There are some new words: go jogging, do the shopping, have a cup of tea. Please, find the translation of these words. You can use the Word list of your books, page WL8. So, let’s check. … Very well.

V. Развитие навыков говорения

And now open your books at page 76. Look at the picture. This is Sally’s daily routine. Please tell me, what does Sally do in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening.

• P1, and what do you do in the morning?

• P2, what do you do in the afternoon?

• P3, what do you do in the evening?

VI. Ознакомление с правилами называния времени.

a) Упр. 2а, стр.76.

To say what we do more exactly, we use the time. Упр. 2а, стр.76.

• o’clock – час

• half past – половина

• quarter past – четверть

• quarter to без четверти

When you tell the time, you have to use the phrase it’s …… o’clock (Говоря о времени, нужно использовать конструкцию it’s …… o’clock).

I’ll show the time, you should tell the time. Н-р.7:30 и т.д разбираем фразы.

b) Упр. 2 b, стр. 76.

А для того, чтобы спросить время, используются выражения из упр. 2 b, стр. 76. (Читают дети).

Упражнение с часами (вопрос-ответ): Now act out some shot dialogues.

VII. Look at the board and read the sentences.

2) Ann has lunch at 2:15 in the afternoon.

3) Bob does his homework at 5 o’clock in the evening.

4) Our lessons finishes at noon.

5) My dog sleeps at night.

6) The Moon shines at midnight.

Now, please think when we use preposition at and when we use preposition in.

Чтобы сказать, в какое время и в выражениях ночью, в полдень, днем, мы используем предлог at, чтобы сказать утром, днем и вечером – in .

- Now open your books on page 77. Look at the picture. Do you know Lara Croft? Who’s she? What do you think, what is the text about?

- It will be your homework – to read the text? Translate and fill in the gaps. So, write down – Sb. P.77, ex. 3,4.
