Around My Hometown

«Monument of Devotion» The most touching monument of Togliatti, which has become an urban legend. The history of the dog is tragic: the owners died in a car accident, and the dog was thrown out f the car, and it remained alive. For seven years, the dog waited for the return of the owners at the place of their death. The dog died without waiting for the return of the owners. On the monument is written: «Monument of Devotion».

«Grieving Angel» In the city park of Togliatti there is a sculpture that is impossible to pass by indifferent. «Grieving Angel» is a memory of millions of innocent victims. The sculpture is surrounded by plaques with the names of the victims who sacrificed their lives in the name of the freedom of their native edges.

«Waiting for a Soldier» On June 22, 2022 in the Victory Park of the city of Togliatti, a sculptural composition was opened in tribute to the generation of soldiers wives, sisters and mothers «Waiting for a Soldier». The monument was opened on the 75 th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war and will forever remain a symbol of hope, spirit and faith in Victory for women who saw off their husbands and sons to the front in the first days of the war.

«To the Creators of the City» On the central square of the city there is an architectural complex «To the Creators of the City» - this is the memory of the people whose hands created the city of Togliatti. It consists of the figure of Nicholas the Wonderworker sitting on a stone. Behind the monument, a bell tower was built, thanks to which every hour a melodic chime is heard over the square.

Eternal Flame In the center of the Victory Park there is a monument erected on the day of the 400 th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. In memory of the four difficult war years, four stelae rose up. At the bottom of each stele there are ledges with false wreaths. On the inside of the ring there is an inscription: « To the feat of the People – Eternal Glory». In the center of the memorial there is a star for the Eternal Flame.

«Transfiguration Cathedral» The decoration of the city was the Transfiguration Cathedral, which can accommodate up to 5,000 people. The temple rose in the most prominent place in the center became the main attraction of Togliatti.

Castle Garibaldi Castle Garibaldi is one of the sights of Togliatti. A modern tourist complex located near Togliatti. Despite the fact that the castle has an ancient look, it is a modern building. There is a luxury hotel and venues for events. This is a luxurious fabulous architecture in a modern design.
